Sometimes you get more than you bargained for, and sometimes you just get way too little. That's where custom application programming comes in. I have developed applications from as minor as a poll, to as complex as a content management system. Every business has their individual needs, and my goal is to fill the void where a company may need a dynamic task executed. PHP applications are a growing market, and provide an excellent way to provide your users with the content you want them to see.
I also do general programming work. I can translate languages (such as ColdFusion to PHP or ASP to PHP for example); do very simple PHP scripts to maintain common elements consistent throughout the site, and much more. Using higher end content will yield you a site that can better handle what you need to get to the user, and this is a great way to start that process.
Have a design that you want but just can't seem to find it? I can take your idea and make it the way you want it. Your design is based totally on what you want, and I am willing to offer my expertise in making the design look that much better. A CMS can be added as well for an extra charge, and you can have full control over the content with very little knowledge required to work with it.
A CMS is a content management system. Depending on your needs they can be more complicated. Wordpress is a blogging CMS, and can help you give your site more of a news or social interaction feel. Joomla gives a more holistic approach to a website, providing you the ability to put just about anything onto the page, such as polls, bulletin boards, and many other features unique to a business' needs.
Do you have your own web server but need to install all of the necessary compontents to get it up and running, such as Apache, MySQL and PHP? Do you already have them installed and just need to troubleshoot errors that seem to be installation related? Getting started from scratch is often problematic, and sometimes the solution is a simple one. I can use my experience to help fix or install whatever it is you may need to get your personal web server up and running.
